A miniature world in the back yard

Work was begun in the fall of 1993.

I started with a pumpkin patch:

Then dumped a load of dirt:

Hired Norm and his Bobcat to move it into a rough shape:

Then shaped the rest by hand:

Added some plants:

And some walls, both big...

...and small:

Then I dug a big hole for the 'lake':

Lined the hole and filled it with water:

I built some bridges:

And then built a river headed by a 4' high water fall:
