Young Men in Black

Part 33a

We're a little out of sequence here, but I needed to energize before continuing. I suppose this will give away part of the story -- we did in fact make it to the ship and took a cruise...

The title Young Men in Black applies to a video from the trip. It portrays the teens, Wells and Dan, making their way to a formal dinner in the Metropolitan Restaurant aboard the Millennium. As usual, I tried to make it somewhat entertaining. I'll reserve the story of The Making of Young Men in Black for a later chapter.

Turn up the volume, sit back and...

  • Chester,

Imagine my suprise when I get back from my business trip and log in for the first time in over a week to see a continuation of your travelogue! Needless to say, I was excited! I immediately sat down to read the whole story from the beginning. As always, the story is outstanding. Big Grin I can't wait to read the rest!

I'm really glad that you and Kris had the opportunity to cruise together again. It really is addictive. Joe and I are planning two this year. We just can't get enough.

The video is very entertaining. Smile We always enjoy seeing those clips.

Thanks for letting us share your experience once again. It's a great pleasure, as always. Smile

    Kelly

  • What cuties! I expected to see a trail of young girls following them to the dining room! And what good sports to go along! Can't wait to read the rest!

  • Hey Kelly. Long time, no see. Imagine my surprise at going on another cruise. I'm already working on excuses to take another. If Joe can't make it for one of yours, keep me in mind.

777, I guess you could say that the boys were good sports. When Wells saw the video, he admitted that it was worth the public spectacle he and Dan were forced to go through -- but we'll detail that later...

    All the best,

    chesterh
  • Hey Chester,

I'll definitely keep you in mind. Wink Any excuse is a good excuse for a cruise. We're taking two this year because we just have to take a long one (seven days just isn't enough) and then we just have to take a celtic cruise in January because we're irish. Smile

See, any excuse will do. Smile

  • Chester: We just loved the video! The boys looked so adult, I can only imagine how the young ladies' eyes were immediately drawn to them. I hope you all had a wonderful time. Jim and I can't wait for our next journey.....not to mention your next chapter. Our best to you and Kris....winter's not yet over...stay warm!

  • WOW!!!

The start of another great story. I do hope that you are serious about writing a book or even a series of books about your cruises. If Celebrity was even half-way smart they would publish it for you and sell it on all of their ships. AND they should invite you to take at least one cruise to a different location every year.

The video is very amusing. Wells was much better at bring stone faced than Dan. It looks like Dan almost cracked up with a smile in the elevator. But you should have given the men 7-up to drink. It would have looked much more like a G&T than the agua frio. Details, details!

Looking forward to the rest of the story. AND TO MANY MORE STORIES!!!

    Bill

  • It takes me back to the old days; new editions on Sunday. How wonderful.

The downside for me is that we will be away for the next 3 installments. I will have to drop off my luggage on the 28th, when we return, and log on to catch up.

What a wonderful video. You get better with each version. Already viewed it twice.

    Welcome back to the States!

Can't talk any longer, Tony Soprano is about to capture my full attention.

    Carole

  • Chester you just get better all the time. Loved the video. Your boys are really handsome in those tuxedos, not to say the least good sports. I am so glad that you fell in love with cruising because we all enjoy your stories. Keep cruising and I swear I will buy every book you publish. Pat

  • Sailorbill, I was just struck by another oversight in this production. Obscure to be sure, it involves the selection of music vs. the vessel we were sailing on. Have you spotted it?
